As an Arts School we look to generate energy, excitement and enthusiasm that permeate the ethos of our school and can be seen in the quality of our creative arts curriculum, extra-curricular events, student activities, performances and displays around the school. The arts have helped embed an ethos of creative thinking and learning to support achievement across the curriculum. Students are encouraged to think and learn in different ways, develop their knowledge and understanding of arts and culture and use creative and new technologies as a learning resource. Working closely with performing artists and people from creative industries, students participate in a wide range of enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities to extend their personal development, learning and social skills.
