The Lowestoft Rising Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) aims to ensure that all children and young people have access to high-quality arts and cultural activity. We are committed to working with local groups and initiatives to bring cultural opportunities to the children of Lowestoft. Over the coming months and years we aim to work at alongside local schools to bring the arts alive to ensure that all of Lowestoft and the families we serve experience culturally diverse opportunities locally and nationally.
Highlights and achievements of this Cultural Education Partnership include the First Light Festival, the Grit Festival, supporting the North Suffolk Sport and Health Partnerships’ schools dance festivals, and many more!
From the early years through to adulthood we pledge to support every child in Lowestoft to be able to regularly:
• Create; Compose and Perform
• Visit; Experience and Participate
• Know; Understand and Review
To ensure this opportunity is available to all, from 0-19, the Lowestoft Rising Local Cultural Education Partnership has formed to bring together communities, formal and informal education, cultural practitioners and most importantly every child and young person.
The partnership aims to find innovative ways to highlight, develop and enhance the rich cultural opportunities available in Lowestoft.
