New Geographies started in 2017 and was a 3 year project delivered by 9 arts organisations across the eastern region including originalprojects; and Norfolk Museum Services. The first stage invited members of the public to overlook forgotten and overlooked places within Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Artists proposed public artworks for those sites and 10 works were commissioned. A series of outreach projects connecting with the public linked with various sites and themes.
